What We Do

Ladder promotes equal opportunity among all people, while advocating for more resources and environmental justice. Our vision is to make a difference in the world. Though it may start small, we are firm believers that hard work and determination will make a difference in our community and beyond.

Our efforts begin by focusing on those who struggle the most - migrants, minorities, the homeless, and felons in Chatham County. It is our understanding that everyone is human and everyone deserves rights. That is why we fight to bring equality and provide resources. We fight to bring resources to bear on the radical and economic disparities that divide our most vulnerable populations from the negative health effects of poverty.

Through our day-to-day work, we also work to bring about environmental justice. Many of our communities suffer from an unfair exposure to varying hazards, including waste and lack of resources. We are going to bring a change today.

Mission

Ladder Strategies and Solutions mission is advocating for equitable and sustainable actions that encompass the interplay of social, racial, and environmental concerns. Our goal is to foster a just and inclusive society for all by promoting fair distribution of environmental benefits and burdens. This includes advocating for clean air, sustainable housing, and equal access to healthcare.
